The body is lathe turned from solid walnut, not veneered over composite, so the grain runs through the piece and each one comes out slightly different. Paired with hand finished antique brass, the metal carries an aged patina from the start and deepens further with handling rather than wearing through to a bright base layer.

The cone diffuser is hand dyed boucle fabric, which softens the light more than glass or metal can. Light passes through the weave and comes out low contrast and warm, which is what makes this workable beside a bed or a reading chair where a hard edged beam would be tiring.

It runs on standard E12 or E14 candelabra bulbs and dims fully when paired with a dimmable bulb and a compatible switch. The single head is 5.9 inches wide for tight walls and hallways, and the twin head at 13.4 inches covers a wider span. All mounting hardware is included and it fits a standard single gang wall box.
